This is a fantastic pen. It is still made in France which I can appreciate. A Parker Jotter was the first refillable ballpoint pen that I ever got my hands on as a kid. I remember how much I loved it then, and I still love it now.
This is a fantastic pen for those seeking a refillable pen that writes smoothly, almost effortlessly and is a very well known for its durability and craftsmanship. The metal fore grip is brushed so it gives a good tactile response and the "click" of the that is well known to the Jotter.
I highly recommend this pen. It's a fantastic gift for those who are just graduating, or find themselves taking notes or writing extensively. There are better pens out there, but at this price point there is no other ballpoint.

Grey oxford pinstripe version slippery. Normal versions are fantastic.
I love the parker jotter and I have ordered several of these, but this version (grey oxford) has a slippery handle. The other ones with the matte bottoms are a world of difference and improvement. Heck, the black and silver one is one of my all time favorite pens, but for some reason this oxford grey stripe was made differently and is slick in the hand and because of the angle of the grip section it is uncomfortable to write with.

Do yourself a favor and get a different pen.
Very underwhelming. I read the reviews as had mixed feeling about ordering this pen but I thought I would give it a shot.
The pen is light, flimsy, and the retractable function is very rough. My $3 Zebra is much better.

Recieved malfunctioning item.
Upon opening from the box there was issues with it clicking and the pen will sometimes not go back inside after depressed unless you poke it on something hard. The item was a gift however, and the person who received it said they would just use it as is...

Good but not great - I prefer the Zebra F701 to the Jotter
Much thinner than I expected, which I find tiring for long periods of writing. Also, the pen material is quite smooth and I find my fingers slipping down the pen as I write. The clicker action is loud and not very smooth. The Jotter is lightweight and good for everyday carry, but the drawbacks make it less desirable. I do like the Parker pen refills - they are very smooth. In comparison, I think the Zebra F701 is far superior as a writing instrument, but their refills aren't great. If I find a Parker refill that works with the Zebra I'll have found ballpoint pen nirvana. Until then... the search goes on.

Not the best quality but did fit Fisher cartridges
It is a very light pen, I dropped it once and the spring mechanism broke. After much playing around with the springs I was able to fix it. Not the best quality but did fit Fisher cartridges, I would not purchase this exact same pen again.

Best pen on the market
Parker jotters are the best pens on the market hands down. If you haven't had the pleasure of using one, treat yourself! The quality and workmanship of the 7$ version and the 20$ version are exactly the same, so choose one you enjoy, and you'll soon become one of those people who always has your pen, and never uses a plastic disposable unenjoyable pen again.

Used or fake pen
The pen has an annoying sound when writing, the package was incomplete, the pen is scratched and the ink tube is used.

It’s a Parker pen, smooth and beautiful very light weight and most important doesn’t leak ink on my shirts. The only draw back is you have to pry it out of other people’s hands you let use it. I have had several women sign paperwork and try and sneak it into there purse

I love these pens
I love these pens. They are dependable. The writing is smooth and neat. Interestingly, my handwriting is much more legible with a Parker pen, an unexpected benefit for this left-hander. ALSO—and this is important—you can get good, dependable pen refills. I highly recommend this product!
