Great little device, definitely recommend
I formally bought a cheaper cord FM transmitter and regretted it immediately. The feedback was horrible. Constant static, high pitched whine, and occasional pulsing noises. Finally after some research I discovered the solution to the problem and sought out a higher quality transmitter. This one is a huge improvement! Not too large, so it doesn't get in the way of my stick shift. It also looks more expensive than it is, which is a plus if you want something that compliments your style or car interior. The blue tooth connected right away, and I no longer have to wrestle with a cord every time I get in my jeep. I haven't used it to answer any phone calls, but the instructions for answering/ending/dismissing calls were very easy to understand.

Occasional feedback situations.
This unit works well. There are some interference issues at times, depending on what town we are driving through - I expect that is a result of driving close to hospitals, radio towers, and vehicles that use radio signals for communications with a dispatch, such as a school bus. I have had to spend many hours trying to find a radio frequency that does not have feedback issues, so I have to chalk it up to living in an area that has a lot of interference. Yesterday, I discovered that we could hear my engine noise through the radio when using this, a high-pitched whine until the car shifted gears, then the high-pitched whine again. The whine only stopped when the gears were being shifted. Not sure what that is about, but it is barely noticeable. Might try switching to a different radio frequency to see if that resolves that issue, but am tired to switching radio stations so much that I end up not having time to listen to my music!

This item is good after all
First unit I received wasn't doing what it should. So seller offered me a replacement and as soon as I'll try it I'll update this post. This is good idea and I hope this will work this time.
Ok I received new transmitter and try it for couple hours. So far I have zero static and I'm set to AM!88.5
This channel works best for me. Some chennels didn't work at all but...
The PROS: very easy way to connect to your central audio, car or house.
Cons: I wouldn't use it for hands free phone conversation.
Over all after some issues in the first place I would still recommend it. Plus excellent customer service.

NO MORE CORDS!!!!!
The first time I used this fm transmitter it had a bit of static for the first 10 minutes, it was easy to fix as I just had to scan through different stations to find one that would have no static. I'm in central Alberta and the station that worked best for me was 87.9. I have been using this fm transmitter for I would say about 4 days now and a majority of the time this device would have no static whatsoever, i would say maybe 99% of the time it was static free which is great. I tried using this for my GPS and it did not work which I'm not sure why as its still sound that comes out of my phone. Was kind of disappointing cause if I need directions but want to listen to my music I have to be more aware and pay more attention and keep looking at my phone. Also it did not work when I wanted to play one of my audio books that I have downloaded on my phone. Again I was really disappointed in this but not as big of a deal to be. For my gps and my audio books I will just have to use my aux cord to hear it through my speakers. I then tried to see if would work using YouTube and Yay or did work, sound was great and no static. I wanted to know how the call quality was going to be so I made a call to my mom and it seemed pretty great, no echoing or static and easy to use as you just have to push the call button on the front. She came in clear and she seemed to be able to hear me good also so thumbs up for that. It has two convenient charge ports on either side which works as expected, i get the charge that i need while jamming to my tunes in my car. Also on either side there is a channel + button and on the other is the channel - button to change the station. It's nice that i have the option to go up or down instead of having to scan straight through on a loop. On the front is the display which shows what station you are on in a clear blue light. I love this as I no longer have to plug it in to listen to my music. Yay!!! No more cords!!!
Overall it's a great product to listen to music, make calls and charge other devices via usb port, compact, great polished design and would recommend this item to a friend.
I would have given it a 5 if I was able to hear my gps or audio books.

Very good product. Great value
This little baby is awesome! The only thing I regret is not buying one years ago!
So basically this thing has a radio transmitter that interacts w/your car's radio-- no need for a bluetooth transmitter built into the car, in other words. The device's bluetooth just links up with your cell phone-- any smartphone manufactured in the last 5 years is bound to have bluetooth.
The lack of a wired connection is really convenient-- you can have your phone in your hand, in your pocket, and the audio transmission is still good. The audio quality is generally excellent-- every once in a while you might hit static, but that's usually when you're on the move long distance and bump into a local station. I always choose a frequency that's "in between" stations and interference is extremely rare.
I've used this with both Spotify and Pandora with no issues. When a phone call comes in, the audio dims out and you get the call audio over your car speakers. I'm still trying to figure out how to use my end of the speakerphone though. When using google maps navigation for example, the directions are streamed over your car speakers -- very cool. You can of course turn these feature on/off using your phone options.
The main 2.1 amp charger provides very quick charging, the "other" port is only 0.5 amps which is much slower-- but it's very convenient to have a spare charge of any sort for someone riding shotgun!

works as advertised
This works perfectly for my 03 saab 9-3. I'm sure if I went on a long trip I would have to probably adjust the radio but driving around Richmond it works fine with no problems. I can listen to my favorite songs on my phone via Bluetooth and that's all I wanted it for. I had a different fm transmitter that plugged into the headphone jack and that worked but it would last maybe an hour before needing to be charged. This way the transmitter plugs into where your cigarette lighter goes you don't run out of power and you can plug a USB cord in to charge your phone or other devices.

Clear sound. I am happy
I have been looking for a good FM transmitter for a long time.
About a year ago, I got an FM transmitter from another seller and it was a lot noisier but I decided to torelate it.
After a while I couldn't stand it anymore and got this.
I regret I didn't buy it sooner.
It's clear sound, it gives a deep sound that I am playing a cd right out of my CD player.
I use this to solely listen to music and podcast, I am very happy.
However, I used it to talk on the phone, they couldn't hear my voice so clearly.
Well, for the purpose that I had, it's still perfect.

This Bluetooth transmitter works wonderfully. The only issue I have had was the microphone (hands free phone call) picked up too much background noise. This could be due to the distance between the transmitter and myself. I especially love that since it plugs into the "cigarette lighter" outlet... you don't have to charge it ahead of time. With previous radio transmitters... the battery would go dead and required a micro-usb cord and plug-in in order to recharge it.

Excellent! Works great after 2 weeks, even after being left for dead in the Texas sun for hours at a time. Even the hands-free call audio, sending and receiving, works fine--and that's a hard feature to implement successfully. Also, it pairs relatively quickly by device memory,
It even has better signal quality than I get from most aux cords, and it's wireless for both receiving AND sending signal!
*10-week update: Still works perfectly with no complaints, just wonderful! So long as I can help it, I'm NEVER going back to an aux cord for my car!

The Good: Extremely easy to set up
I bought this solely to connect my iphone to my car stereo because my new phone case made my 3.5mm connector inoperable.
The Good: Extremely easy to set up, and after a few tests I found a station that worked in my car. The sound is less than perfect, but reasonable quality.
The Bad: The adaptor makes my normal radio stations slightly staticky so I have to unplug it when not in use. Also, no one can hear me when I use the bluetooth for a phone call, so I have to manually disconnect the phone each time a call comes in.
